Homo Insolitum: We've Come This Far
Homo Insolitum, meaning 'strange and unfamiliar' in Latin, is a journey of mourning one's own birth
and extinction by tracing the vestiges of extinct ancient humans imprinted within us.
Utilizing 3D modeling and AI-generated 'primordial language,' this work gives voice
to those who drift outside the boundaries of modern norms.
The unintelligible sounds delivered through headphones
represent the 'untranslatable' statements of a newly manifested human form.
Beyond scientific proof, this project explores the fundamental sense of loss
and the mystery of human evolution through the lens of artistic imagination.
